Invitations are awesome!Reviewed by L. Hrycak, 2007-07-09
I really love this book, I'm so glad I got it. There are several really creative invitations in here as well as simple instructions to create them yourself. People will think you are amazing. I used one of the invitation designs to develop my wedding invitations and I never would have thought of it myself (I am better at copying/basing my own creations off of something else than being original haha). I would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for invitiation designs and want to blow people's minds with your creative skills.
Fantastic!Reviewed by aublacky, 2007-05-07
This idea book is truly one of the best I have seen. My 5 year old daughter is still talking about the darling purse invitations I made for her birthday party months ago. (As are all of the mothers of those invited!) The patterns are clear and easy to follow. I made 10 or so in an hour and kept thinking about how long it would have taken me if I had to come up with the idea and pattern myself. Many of the invitations make me want to throw a party just so I have a reason to try another one. I love the wide variety and uniqueness. You will not be disappointed!
It was okReviewed by Lisa Watkin, 2007-03-08
It didn't have hardly any new "fresh" ideas. I was expecting more out of it. Unforgettable is not what I would call the invitations. It was just ok.
Fresh, crisp, fun!Reviewed by Erin M., 2006-12-02
I love this book. It's filled with great new ideas for novices or advanced paper crafters. Page after page has cool creative ways to use embellishments, ribbon and folding that I've never thought of (and I'm an advanced scrapbooker.) I'm going to use the design ideas and color combinations for scrapbook pages as well. Great resource and beautifully done. Well worth the cost of a few supplies. I'm buying one for my sister, too.
Browse-worthyReviewed by E. CASTILLO, 2006-08-21
The author did a good job of providing some creative concepts, but I don't know if the projects made it worthwhile to purchase the book. Had I seen this in the bookstore, I think I would have just browsed through it and got the general idea. The projects were simple enough to be reproduced without the aide of the book, even though templates are included in the back of the book. If it were half the price, I would give it another star.
